Kim Vu, Founder & Chief Talent Officer
Hi, I’m Kim Vu!
I bring more than 20 years of demonstrated success as a Talent Leader, with expertise in recruitment across both corporate and agency landscapes. My experience spans diverse industries, including dental, food services, hospitality, and construction. In my most recent role as Talent Manager at Dentalcorp—Canada’s largest and fastest-growing network of dental practices—I led a team of five Talent Acquisition Specialists, driving recruitment strategies to attract top talent across Ontario and the Atlantic provinces.
My recruiting career began at Quantum Management Services, a large multidisciplinary agency, where I spent five years immersed in industries such as finance/banking, food manufacturing, retail, and consumer packaged goods. I later expanded my expertise at a boutique construction agency, specializing in low- to high-rise construction and property management roles, further refining my ability to meet industry-specific hiring needs.
Over 25 years ago, at the tender age of 19, I realized I was a people person and belonged in the human resources field after spending a year studying Computer Science at Waterloo University. This revelation led me to transfer to Trent University, where I pursued a degree in Business Administration while simultaneously attending Sir Sandford Fleming College to study Human Resources. My dedication culminated in earning my CHRP and CHRL designations, and now, 23 years into my career, the rest is history!
A personal tidbit about me: I am Vietnamese, born in Montreal, and raised in Peterborough, Ontario. Although I began life as an only child, my family grew significantly after my parents remarried—I now have seven siblings! I’m also married and a proud mom of fraternal 11-year old twin boys who fill my life with joy and excitement!

My extensive background includes managing recruitment for Compass Group Canada, one of the country’s largest food services and hospitality organizations, as well as recruiting for administrative and customer service roles across campus at York University.
